The Tube and large, open shopping areas are just not the tea. Oxford Street is packed with shoppers every day but even more so with Christmas coming up.
I read that four guys from Luton (large satellite town of London) were arrested on terrorism offences just yesterday. So returning fighters and homegrown terrorists are both a threat. I'm sort of prepared for something to happen tbh, security services can only monitor so much and then there are lone wolves who won't trip themselves up by communicating with others.

Western officials believe the terror network behind last month’s massacre in Paris has links to people in the U.K., fueling concerns about the threat faced in Europe.
Several people suspected of having connections to Abdelhamid Abaaoud, the Islamic State operative and alleged ringleader of the Nov. 13 attacks, are based in the U.K., according to two Western officials. The officials said those people, including some of Moroccan heritage, are based in the Birmingham area, about 120 miles northwest of London.
