And no, I wasn't. If I wanted something, I had to get the money for it myself. It made me a better person and now I have most things I want, so

very both of my cars were paid for and christmas was always a treat, but I now work for my farther and contribute greatly so before everyone starts the "no and i'm better off than those brats" seethe because i personally don't live up to the stereotype.

p.s mad respect for anyone with single parents, I personally think being able to bring up children who grow up to be happy and healthy a massive achievement
