The people in Syria are in a civil war with two groups fighting. No matter what they are in a dangerous area which is why those civilians need to be saved and given refugee status.
Also something has to be done to bring stability to the area which is why there's attacks coordinated by neighboring countries and far countries. So far we can't use peace and just sit around having more innocent Syrians killed, sitting around is what got us here in the first place. As far as I'm concerned even local people are trying their best to bring stability. It's a hard situation but what can be done?
