SJWs =/= activists.
Activists inspire real change in the real world. They devote their lives to humanitarianism and take action. SJWs just bash away at their keyboards, shaming and humiliating people left and right, demeaning instead of educating, at their computers 12 hours per day. This doesn't inspire change. It inspires likes and retweets. 'SJW' is a term reserved for that group of people. The ones who view human rights as a trend and didn't give a **** prior to 2013. So, no, these people are NOT responsible for LGBT rights. They're responsible for people seeing real activists in a negative light.
N.B. SJWs are the ones who come up with OTT terms like 'plantkin' and suggest that doctors are morally corrupt for assigning newborn babies a sex based on their genitalia. They expect to be mollycoddled by society and are disappointed when it doesn't happen. It's a little ... unhealthy.

What nonsense. Those "real" activists who inspire "real" change in the world are likely to have social media accounts themselves and say the same things as most "SJWs" do. You sound like the type of people who complain that black or feminist protesters are making their cause a joke by making people uncomfortable or unhappy. That's how protesting works.
Also, I highly doubt most "SJWs" spend 12 hours of their day on Twitter and Tumblr hunting down racists and homophobes. Finally, what on earth "plantkin"? You sound like you spend too much time on the Internet yourself. I highly doubt most people who support social justice on social media even know that is.
I also find it strange that people spend so much time complaining about "SJWs" and their argument always relies on fringe behavior. Again, I highly doubt most "SJWs" know what a plantkin is. More importantly, wouldn't it be worthwhile to actual complain about something that actually needs change rather than some random weirdos on Tumblr?
