Scott Weiland, the frontman best known for his work with Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, has died, TMZ reports. He was reportedly found on a tour bus before his band Scott Weiland & the Wildabouts' performance in Hamel, Minnesota. He was 48.
No one lives forever, but I genuinely thought Scott might live forever. I should have known better, though. His struggles with addiction practically lasted his adult life, and he had looked rough recently. But man, I always hoped beyond hope that he would finally overcome it before it was too late.
