Yes. She learned her lesson with the whole Nicki VMA thing. Don't say anything bad about black artists and pretend to be very happy for them no matter what.
But if it was the 1930s, she would tie his leg to the back of her car and drive around town.
Of course different images can work. But where can SHE go? The only people selling these days are those with both-sexes appeal and 9/10, it's that young white demo. Young people don't care about her. And she's no Michael Buble, so the 60 y/o's are throwing her coins either.
I'm hoping she takes some notes from artists like Gwen circa 2006, or Madonna around Confessions (though she obviously isn't a Madonna-level figure). You know - plenty of women have hit the 30 mark and higher and been able to resonate with the public.
She just needs to not try so damn hard to be cool if she actually wants to be cool.
