I have a slither of hope it's still coming this year. She's suppose to be celebrating 10 years of slaying with Anti, right? This diary game is cute but something about it is just lacking.
But all hopes dies once 2016 comes through.

The fact that this and the excitement for the album has totally fizzled. Maybe she's doing the Superbowl, that could liven things back up

The problem with the Diary is that there is no fan interaction whatsoever, we are passive in the progress of the diary. In my opinion, if we could actually solve a puzzle to unlock "fan treats" such as: song titles, snippets, full songs, release date, music video previews and etc would have made much more sense instead of just viewing random visuals and waiting for each room to unlock itself out of the blue.
Every week or couple of days we'd have to play different games, for an example, they'd give us two sets of short videos (15 seconds each) and we have to vote for the ones we like. At the end of the week, the result will be a music video that we created (Who's That Chick Day/Night style). For snippets, we'd have to solve riddles for example, "A lyric used twice in Rihanna's songs before", answer: Yellow diamonds. Then we'd get a 5 seconds snippets or something. And for titles or so, we'd have to figure out Braille and the first couple of people sending the actual answer win a ticket to the tour / gift card on iTunes.
The idea could be a "Build the Album" interactive experience, while not actually giving fans much effect on the creative process of the album, revealing stuff piece by piece giving the fans the illusion that they are helping to create / finish the album, to me, sounds like fun.

Too bad its a DIARY not a game. She's giving us a story and a countdown to the album at once, which is pretty cool. Revealing little **** will just ruin the surprise of the album.
Idc about music videos just yet, she can build anticipation for those later in the era.

Why does she keep acting like it's game then?

Yes I also said this before. There is literaly no interaction. Even if it isn't supposed to be a game. It lacks interaction with the demographic. It's just a waiting game now without any details.

So it seems more esoteric and intriguing.
