any sane person with common sense would come to the conclusion that Deadney would never be considered as Half time show performer material, they need a real entertainer, no amount of stage props, screens, LED's, flashing lights or back up dancers will be enough to distract people from witnessing the horror of the stiff shriveled corpse wobbling and spastically convulsing and groaning into a Turned off mic.
They WANT for her to be ridiculed (granted they've probably become accustomed to it over the years). 
Kind of creepy and loserish in my opinion.
