They know we are obsessive about our celebs and we have money to buy their products so they try to cater to us by leading us on and pandering. I won't name any names because I also stan for some of them, but lbr.

This has to do with gay men generally being over-obsessive with pop culture and celebrities, it's our fault.
And no, gays need to stop playing the victim, gay men are descriminated against that's for sure, but being 'objectified' ? Please. If you can't tell the difference between a girl who wants to use you as a 'puppet' or whatever and one who genuinely cares about you/wants to be your friend that's your problem.
And the whole 'girls want to use me!!' thing has more to do with yourself, not being gay, this happens to people of any sexual orientation, there are people who want to befriend others because they are beneficial at some level.
