People really need to stop dismissing astrology as ******** without even having educated themselves or seen their own chart in its entirety. Granted, the 'astrology' most people are exposed to
is ********, so you can't really blame them too much for thinking of it as such, but if you're gonna make sweeping statements, at least have them be educated and informed ones!
Astrology can be a really great tool for spiritual guidance. I feel like studying it informally — regardless of its 'authenticity' — can really open your mind and help you better understand concepts about society and humanity in general.
Everyone has his/her individual chart, aspects and house placements. The sun sign (your watered down 'star' sign) is basically useless on its own.
TL;DR: Astrology = real, in my opinion.
Horoscopes = complete and utter nonsense.
