This is a huge myth. Most people in the world did not believe the Earth was flat and didn't think Columbus was an idiot when he said the world was round. Only a small looney Christian fringe believed the Earth was flat.
The interesting contradiction is that he's pretending to think for himself and see things for "what they really are," but he's just like that looney fringe that insisted the world was flat. Pedophilia will never be legalized because sex requires consent and children don't have the legal capacity of adults. Unless he's insisting that in 50 years, ten-year-olds will get legal status as adults?
