LEMONADE – The first SOPHIE song I ever heard. So short and sweet. The bubbling intro is absolutely crazy and when it comes back near the end of the song it's so random and refreshing and just so interesting. I love the contrasts between each section of the song. BOP.
HARD – Easily the best combination of vocals, lyrics and production on the album. This song is just everything. My most played SOPHIE song and I don't think I'll ever get sick of it. PC Music at its finest. The jarring differences between the elements of this song are, well, hard, but work so well. It maintains your interest from start to finish. All of the sounds are so strangely pleasing. Perfect.

PC Music is technically a label, not a genre, but they only produce one "type" of music, so it's kind of taken on its own genre. PC Music artists make electronic music which is often fast-paced, combines an array of unfamiliar sounds and effects with optional high-pitched female vocals.

MSMSMSM – This beat ****ing knocks. It's so insane. It really doesn't need vocals but I'd love to see someone try to ride this, in a strange way I think someone like Azealia Banks could pull it off. But yes, it's fabulous in all the wrong ways. Go awf, SOPHIE!

Ah, that's very interesting to learn about. Thanks. I will check it out sometime this week, sounds like music I'd enjoy

VYZEE – Mega bop. Probably SOPHIE's most "pop" song in his personal discography, disregarding his productions for other artists such as Charli XCX and LIZ. I don't like it quite as much as HARD yet, but I really really love it.

Overall: This is a very strong album. I was curious to see where he would go after Can't Feel My Face, so I'm pleasantly surprised with what he put together. The beginning was a little boring up until Often, but after that, the album started picking up. The 2nd half is def better than the first half. Some of the best songs on the album are at the ending, so that was kinda stupid.

L.O.V.E. – SOPHIE is an absolute mess for this. It's literally just noise for the majority of the song. I still kind of like it more than ELLE though, because its good moments are really good. It's kind of fun challenging yourself to listen to the whole thing.

JUST LIKE WE NEVER SAID GOODBYE – This song is really cute, and it's probably the closest a PC Music artist is going to get to releasing a ballad. It's toned down a little but it's still exciting enough and even puts the lyrics to the forefront at times. A good album closer, for the regular edition.

GET HIGHER – This is a bop! It's sort of like a lesser-HARD (which is probably why it's just a Japanese bonus track) but in saying that, an inferior HARD is still better than ELLE and L.O.V.E., at the very least. The male vocals are a bit distracting and somewhat unusual for PC Music too, so that might be another reason. It was a nice experiment.
UNISIL – Another production-only track. Again, it's better than ELLE and L.O.V.E., but I can kinda see why it was just a free download with the "silicon product" aka. sex toy. Like GET HIGHER, this feels like an inferior MSMSMSM, but it's still a bit of a bop.
PRODUCT – Overall, the debut effort for PC Music breakout star SOPHIE was quite a success. It set out to do what it achieved and experimented with lots of different sounds, styles and effects. Some reached very high (HARD, VYZEE and MSMSMSM among others), but there were also a few misses (ELLE, L.O.V.E.).
If you were up for trying something really different and new, I would definitely recommend this album
