Rise: An incredible bounce back from the let down of Body Heat. Although I'd say the intro is way too long for a song that short, the chorus was so up-lifting that I think I can forgive it. I get that feeling of 'girl-power' from it and even I, a man, feel like a strong independent woman. So good job. 9.5/10

Me & My Girls: Although it's definitely a b0p, that weird "We No Speak Americano"-esque breakdown after that repetitive chorus is not a great way to approach song. 7.1/10

Nobody: I'm loving these slow songs from Selena so much thus far. There's a sense of urgency from this song even though the tempo's slow which provides such a great contrast for the song. However, unlike Camouflage, I do feel like it's a tad boring and it doesn't have that same appeal that Camouflage had. 8.1/10

Real Life: Really didn't know what to expect when I heard that loud ass siren synth thing in the beginning of the song. Was pleasantly surprised when it got to the chorus. Definitely the best part of the song, that and the pre-chorus. Other than that, it's pretty... eh. Don't know how I feel about this as an opener tbh, should've been in the middle of the album. 6.8/10

Losers (feat. Labrinth): Again, not sure how I feel about this song's placement. It kinda falls flat tbh. The breakdown after the chorus(?) is kinda cute, but I don't really like this song. I also don't like Labrinth's voice either, v. annoying. The only good part is the bridge. I wish the rest of the song sounded like that part. So far, super disappointed. [/U]4/10[/U]

EYES OPEN EYE - CHVRCHES

This was a very pleasing album to listen to. As I have said before, eighties sounds are my favorite things in the world

they are really good at mixing 80s and 90s influences with modern ones. Some of the melodies were also very nostalgic and I enjoy that. I will definitely listen to a lot of the songs on it. A couple were eh and this album was almost too cohesive at time so it became a tad dull but nothing too messy (except Empty Threats, tragic). I guess that's what deleting tracks is good for. I was not disappointed even if I did want more singing from the guy.

Perfect: Another slow song that's in between Nobody and Camouflage in terms of quality. Although it's not as boring and dry as Nobody, it lacks the effectiveness of Camouflage. The production on the choruses is much weaker than I need it to be

Although it's a weird way to end certain versions of the album, I still appreciate the emotion behind Selena' voice. 8.6/10

Outta My Mind {Loco}:

Not today, Satan. Neither the lyrics or the production stood out, they were both equally horrible.

I am disappointed in this song. Was a bad penultimate song.

Cologne: From the get-go the production truly stood out. I was at first expecting the production to overshadow the lyrics, especially after OMM(L), but she's oops. She's managed to do it again. Be part of a song where both compliments each other and their is an underlying sense of urgency that provides a fitting conclusion to this album. Even though her vocals sound strained at points, and the slight Perfume teas I'm getting from this, this is a lovely conclusion to Selena's Revival.

Often: Now THIS is a bop! Everything about this song is amazing. The production is A+, and his flow in this song slays! Not gonna lie though, the little high pitched voice sounds like it's saying, "Smell that, smell that doodoo"
