My one ex never told his parents. So when we went over for dinner, I was his friend. I wasn't thrilled about it but whatever. Like a few months down the road and I can feel the relationship is ending. I knew it was over when I found out he was going to a bathhouse behind my back. I didn't confront him about it. But I did load our sex tapes onto a flash drive and drop it at dinner.

He ended things about week after that. It wasn't a good break up. It took 4 months for one of his parents to find the drive.

I outed my old best friend. When people started to suspect he was gay he ended our friendship and started dating girls. One of the girls he dated became good friends with me and it was so bad to see her in a relationship with the closet so I outed him and they broke up but he is still in the closet (but basically everyone at my school knows)

Because it's not up to YOU when someone should be out. It's up to THEM to decide when It's time, when they are ready and when they are comfortable.

Outing someone is one of the worst things you could do, the effect on them could be disastrous, if they are not ready. It's their right to come out when they want, not when YOU or others think they should.
