Girl with Wi-Fi Allergy Commits Suicide,Mother Blames School
Quote:
A 15-year-old girl who took her own life was tormented by her Wi-Fi allergy and her school should have done more to help her, the teenager's mother has told a court in England.
Jenny Fry was found dead near her home in Chadlington on June 11. She had texted a friend in the morning saying she wasn't going to school and that she intended to die.
Fry's mother, Debra, told a court inquest that the teenager suffered from tiredness, headaches and bladder problems due to electro-hypersensitivity (EHS), a condition exacerbated by Wi-Fi at her school. She is believed to have started showing symptoms in November 2012.
"It's a misunderstood condition and schools are reluctant to do anything because the Wi-Fi companies have money and tell schools it is safe."
She was screwed from the get go. Wifi is not the first wireless broadcast. It's mainstream now but places have used it for years. Let's not even talk about naturally occurring radio waves.
While this is truly tragic (may she rest in peace), I don't understand what the mother expected the school to do. With such a condition, I would think she could barely go in public spaces, let alone a school... you can't get everyone in the world to shut down their Wifi (or radio or any other waves that might affect people).
