If the album sold around 500k it's first week, sure, but not 3.38 million.

She had already sold 650k through Sunday, and today is Cyber Monday. I wouldn't be surprised if she crossed the million mark for this week today given the day's reputation for massive online sales. I will say 1.2-1.25 million more albums in total for 25 this week.

I don't think it will be a huge impact, but it will have some impact. More advertisements etc more opportunity to see Adeles new album is out
