Anyway, anyone disagreeing that It's Like That is Mariah's best lead is simply deluded. One of the best lead singles of all time and the perfect comeback message. I can only hope Gaga follows in those footsteps (not sonically, but kind of lyrically and attitude wise).

They crossed over to the US Latino community. They have hits on Latin radio, Latin charts, and are known very well in that community.

Like Romeo Santos has HUGE Latin radio hits and one of his recent albums is the best selling Latin album this decade in US I believe.

Outside the Latino community tho they're unknown to the mainstream public (white people, black people, etc).

Prince Royce had a moderate Pop hit last year with Stuck on a Feeling though. I wanted Back It Up to be a hit but it flopped.

lol. ILT is a great song and was def a great way to reintroduce herself after a slew of flops....but her best lead single? No.

I knew about Prince Royce because I started following latin artists on the charts last year but I always thought the rest had big hits outside the Latin community like Shakira did with Hips Don't Lie.
