human: This ****ing song. So mighty and bold, and Perri sounds significantly more engaged here. The lyrics in the chorus are a bit melodramatic, but it's a relatively minor quarrel.
one night: ouh yas, the groovy dark vibe! It's so moody and stormy, I like. I feel like she could have tugged this some more and let it develop even more, especially since it ends somewhat abruptly, but I'm still pleased with this.
i don't wanna break: This is somewhere between "good" and "filler." It feels transitionary so that it serves a purpose in the album, but it doesn't really do all that much. The chorus and message are cute, but it does get repetitive very quickly.

The 1-2-3-4 punch continues! This song was an instant favorite since the first moment I heard it. The spoken verse and the bridge are my favorite parts. Her accent sounds so beautiful tbh.
Favorite line: "I guess you could say that my life's a mess, but I'm still looking pretty in this dress. I'm the image of deception."

This song is super cute. My favorite part is definitely the bridge. The way her voice just booms The lyrics are also very well-written. You could really feel what she was trying to say with this song. I also think this song is the one that best represents Electra Heart (the character).
Favorite line: "You like my dad, you get on well. I'll send my best regards from hell."

sea of lovers: Well we all know I ****ing love water so I'm expected a lot from this. And I ended up getting a good bit! The lyrics in the verses, wooo Jesus This was cute, but I feel like this was trying to be a single but just doesn't stick enough to make that a reality.
the words: This is really touching and generic at the same time. I really like the lyrics and the sentiment since it hits me hard, but the production is so vanilla. This ends up feeling like an obligatory ballad.
lonely child: Ha lisp in the verse This was pretty forgettable, with the guitar led bridge being dare I say stupid. At this point, I'm begging to have my weave snatched, but she's really only getting my leg hairs tbh.
run: ugh shut up. this song sucks.
butterfly: I hated this too. This is so try hard.
shot me in the heart: Ugh, finally I'm saved! This was the song I remember most from seeing her live. This is a cute song and should be much further up in the tracklisting. Again, got my leg hairs, not my scalp.
i believe: Who You Are who? While I hated the overdone and try hard "darling" lines, as well as the drawn out outro, I ended up enjoying this somewhat.
