22: This is probably a love it or hate it song ALA WANEGBT, but I ****ing love this. The production is so giddy and happy, and I also love the music video and Lovesong's fabulous AVI from it, so I love this even more! My only issue is that when I'm not focusing on listening to the production, IE I start listening to Taylor herself, I'm not as slain.

I Almost Do: SLAY ME. This is one of the few songs from Red I've listened to pretty constantly since its release. It takes me back to such a heartbreaking time in my life, so it packs even more punch. I've had some issues with the production, delivery, and lyrics not lining up so far, but here everything lines up perfectly. I Almost Do > All Too Well. Fight me TacoBellBottom.

We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together: I DETESTED this at first, but eventually I stopped being a prude little **** and embraced this ooey gooey Pop anthem for the greatness that it is. Shake It Off could never touch ha spoken bridge.

Stay Stay Stay: This SCREAMS soundtrack to some cute AT&T commercial or something of the sort. This is the definition of cute, but it's a bit too cute.

The Last Time (feat. Some Guy? IDK): OH I actually remember this one! I think Taylor has this incredible ability to get inside your head, and brings you fully into her world. When you listen to a Taylor Swift, you're really listening, she demands so much attention in songs like this. I'm not fully convinced by this, but I'm convinced enough to give this a good score.

Holy Ground: This sounds like my songs read. Can anyone else advocate for that? I love that this tells a story, and that the production has that forward running motion that creates the aura of a story being told. This reminds me of How You Ressurect Jesus from 1989 which is a very good thing (I know HYRJ is not appreciated by most of ATRL's depressed and deprived bottoms but I will FIGHT you on its magnificence).

Sad Beautiful Tragic: Don't remember this one from my previous listens. This is a snoozefest, sorry. The ballads of 1989 do this better.

The Lucky One: This deep into an album, it's very hard to keep a listeners attention, and I don't think she's trying to do that right now, when she should. I don't see this having any replay value.

Everything Has Changed (feat. Ed Sheeran): I love this song, but why is so deep in the tracklisting stuffed between far inferior ballads and mid-tempos? In regards to its position on the album, it doesn't pump enough life into a dying latter stretch. As a song itself, it's simple and effective.

Starlight: Ahhh the life is back! The chorus is missing some punch and the bridge lyrically is pretty tragic, but this is still good overall.

Begin Again: This is and isn't euphoric. I never really appreciated this song until now. It's so simple and gorgeous. It does fall into the same sonic territory as a few songs and moods on the album, but it does it far better than its companions. That being said it's an awkward closer sonically, though the lyrics are perfect for a closer. Did you know Katy actually praised this track before Taylor snatched ha weave? Poor ha.

Overall: As a whole this is a super cohesive and great album, as one should expect from Swift. She manages to explore different styles and sounds, while managing to blend all of those colors into one vibrant Red. While there are issues of Swift not being able to say the same thing between the lyrics and production every so often, Red's blemishes can be overlooked if you focus on the right spots.
