Coven is fun, but it definitely feels like a spin off. I actually think it is the most entertaining season because it is hilariously pointless. It slayed me when it was on air, but I went back to watch the previous seasons and thee drop in quality is just

MH and Hotel are on the same level to me (at least so far), while Asylum ranks the highest. Hotel...it's both good and bad that Jessica isn't there. For once, it doesn't feel like the Jessica show so more characters get to shine...however we don't really know The Countess the way we would if she were portrayed by Jessica. I wish we knew more about The Countess from the start.

I love Coven I didn't like the ending at all for obvious reasons, but I still loved it.

Most of the fans who have recently started watching the series are so transparent. Im watching AHS since the beginning and people were talking like that since day 1. When you watch a tv show from the first to the last ep in two days ofc you will enjoy it more because you watch constantly and there is no time to find plot holes or judge smb's acting. Coven was not that great and far worse during mid season than Hotel. It had its moments but yeah, even Asylum sucked a bit (its still flawless tho) during the last episodes but when you watch all at once ofc you will find everything good. Even MH had an ep or two that were not that great.


Plus the nostalgia factor is too strong with fans.

Ps nobody here judges welcome to briarcliff and it is literally the worst ep of asylum whereas i saw a lot of hate for checking in and its better. That explains it all. And im an "original" stan who didnt care for popularity like the new members today.

Age is a factor here, unfortunately. Im not an ageist but Jessica is no longer capable of shooting things like that plus she is not into gore (shes done a very few gory scenes, eg the nazzi film). The Countess is written for Gaga especially. Without her we may have gotten another freak show and even if her acting is not top notch every week im grateful she inspired Ryan to create a season which has the potential to end up being as good as MH.

Yeah I agree it's miles easier to like a season if you watch it like I did (a few days per season).

Hotel was my first season I watched week by week and by 3rd episode I was like but then I watched all episodes (from 1 to 6) and I loved it so much !

This. The plot line/concept/theme is so great, better and more Unique than MH and A. If only it had the depth and well-developed, growing characters that A did

I hated Asulym at first tbh I even thought of abonding the show BUT after I rewatched the whole season I cried at "Madness Ends" and then rewatched straoght away one more time

I think if we had the season as whole it would be a lot diffrent experience than waiting and anticipating for new ep every week it kinda kills off the momentum to some point idk

I don't know why everyone hates the Axeman. The Axeman Cometh is one of Covens best episodes tbh

I agree that The Axeman Cometh was a great episode. But his storyline from then on felt a bit bring and uneventful. They killed it with the Fiona romance.

The Coven shade must stop.

Dark Cousin is the best individual episode of Asylum & probably the whole series.
