What I want from the sims 4... is a reason not to prefer the sims 2 & 3

Toddlers (along with pre teens) were also mentioned in a survey for future expansion packs.

Anyway i want opeen neighborhoods (Didn't they say it's possible? They better get on it. Closed worlds are fine with me tho), apartments that are a mix between the sims 2 and sims 3 mechanic and maybe terrain tools.
A coloring Wheel would slay too tbh

Just end it. They should just re-release TS2 with an open world/color wheel (some other new and improved features as well) and call it a day.

They did that with Sims 3. They literally reused the animations and interactions from The Sims 2, added Open World, re-sold Sims 2 content on the Sims 3 store and called it a day.

The Sims 4 may not be in line with the original trilogy, but it's fun in it's own right. It would have been more fitting as a spin off though.

That explains why TS3 is actually good (minus the sloppy technical issues).

TS4 would have been fine as a console release. I don't know if it can be saved, but I'll see what happens when it's all said and done. I just don't want to pay a large sum of money for a game to be a game.
