Poor Mariah Carey! Even though her new single, H.A.T.E.U, hasn't had its official radio add date yet, things aren't looking so well. Radio stations have received the single more than a week ago and have been ignoring the song. Meanwhile, Mariah's latest album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, continues its massive decline on the charts.

Many fans and critics have narrowed down where Mariah's major downfall began: Nick Cannon. Ever since they married, Mariah's sales have gone way down. Nick is practically old enough to be Mariah's son, but Mariah and her record company probably thought that the marriage would help Mariah appeal to the younger, urban crowd.

The answer is yes. Her sales literally started to fall after she married Nick Cannon. He's a part of the reason why the E=MC^2 era was so crappy. She could have released "Migrate" after "Bye Bye" but since she was so in love, she wanted to release love songs ("I'll Be Lovin' U Long Time" and "I Stay In Love") instead of the obvious hit singles. Both flopped.

Honestly, if she never married Nick Cannon, her career would be at a better state.

Could. Doesn't mean they all go and spin upcoming/non-released singles ahead of time. And the ones who have started spinning it now, have helped it start growing early. Hence it debuting at #72 on the R&B charts last week.
