It's a good question. Masculine ideals being promoted above the feminine and self-hate. Also, lots of gays are bitchy and just like to cuss people out.

I don't like men with feminine facial features. I actually prefer men to have both feminine and masculine character qualities, but it depends...I knew this guy was really cute before he started wearing make up and doing his eyebrows. Just not my type. If it comes to a point where I could mistake a guy for a female then it is a turn off since I am not attracted to women.

I think it's more of the reprsentation of gay men. Most gay men tend to be effeminate especially male singers we have today - and it paints a bad picture and enforces the stereotype.
