Since it's not a time unlock and it's already 48 hours since The Bedroom opened I'm guessing that select people are being given keys to R2-R7 all at once and it's up to them to unlock them, then there's something the rest of us have to do in those rooms to unlock R8. (which is still probably timed for Friday given the rumors).
