Here are the official projections for the top ten richest countries in the world from the year 2030 to the year 2050, compiled by Citigroup.
These measures are in
GDP per capita, the most accurate way of comparing economies. GDP per capita divides the total GDP by the population of the country, so the figures below indicate how much money there is for each citizen. That's why countries like China and India, in spite of their high overall GDP, flop in the per capita department as they have huge populations, and there isn't enough to go around.
1.) Singapore - $137,710
2.) Hong Kong - $116,639
3.) Taiwan - $114,093
4.) South Korea - $107,752
5.) United States - $107,752
6.) Saudi Arabia - $98,331
7.) Canada - $96,375
8.) United Kingdom - $91,130
9.) Switzerland - $90,956
10.) Austria - $90,158
