The follow-up to 2010's New Amerykah Part Two: Return of the Ankh is out this Friday, November 27 as an iTunes/Apple Music exclusive. It will be available via other digital services on December 4. That's the cover art, above.
She calls the album "TRap & B" The title of the mixtape is a reference to Badu's 1997 track "Tyrone". According to a press release, "each song makes reference to telephones and our own reliance on staying inter-connected."
Badu recorded the project with producer Zach Witnessin in Dallas. "Surprises" and "guests" are promised.
