i'm canadian where thanksgiving actually makes sense but my family usually has:
Turkey
Cranberry sauce
Mashed potatoes
Sweet potatoes
Stuffing

but this year I brought some stuff from the bakery I work at so we had:
Green beans with lemon zest and garlic
Turnip and chive puree
Kale and apple stuffing
Roasted root vegetables
Pear frangipane

It's only 3 of us (my dad's a deadbeat mexican who has like 3 illegitimate children while married to my mom so he's out and my mom and her family either don't like each other or live too far) so we don't make a lot of food!
