This is what happens when you think that it is OK to beat up a homeless man and urinate upon him because you want to prove that "Hispanics" and "illegal immigration" are ruining our nation. This is what happens when you support a presidential candidate who uses fabricated and racist statistics to pander to his right-wing followers. The list of examples has become endless and we can find daily "bits" of violence against minorities in the news.

Yes, arguing for petty stuff that one does not truly believe in is not only inauthentic, but harmful to those who actually are affected by important issues.
