To most if not all the republicans I know individual freedom, individual responsibility and less government intervention are their top priorities. Please explain to me how those values reduce my dignity. There are many big government programs that would help me individually that I think are harmful to the long term health of the country...so I oppose them. You believe they are helpful. I think your wrong but I'm not going to accuse you of selfishness or evil motives. Or judge your dignity. I can go into a long dissertation to support my beliefs and so could you I'm sure. Instead you choose to smear the motives and character of those that disagree with you.
