the main reason why people say katy was embarrassed by taylor is that they make very similar music, aim for very similar demographics, and yet taylor crushed katy in a lot of aspects.
adele's sales do make taylor's look like short change, but it's not
that much of an embarrassment since taylor and adele aim for different demographics and make different music.
