Get the nail clippers out quick. Rising British girl troop The Saturdays have made an unprovoked attack on pop giants, the Pussycat Dolls.
The girlband, who are largely touted as the successors to Girls Aloud, hit out at the US superstars insisting they are nothing more than a troop of dancers.
Taunting the girls over their rows surrounding lead singer Nicole Scherzinger's hogging of the vocals, Irish Saturday Una Healy, 28, said: 'We're not a dance group like the Pussycat Dolls - only one or two of them can sing.'
Bandmate Vanessa White, 19, then stepped up the assault during their BBC Switch gig to insist the British group are the real deal.
'We've always been fighting since we started the group to prove that we're not just a bunch of pretty girls who dance around.'
The girls swiped their talons as they missed out again on a first UK number one, when their new single Forever Is Over coming just short of top slot at No.2 recently.
Meanwhile Scherzinger's troop boast two chart toppers this side of the pond.
