At this point, she's going to debut with 3.5M copies sold.
Didn't they ship 3.6M or something? Thanks God digital copies are apart.
She's opening with 5.5-6M WW, bookmark me.
I'm going with 3.5 million too. I expect her physical sales percentage of sales to increase through the week. But since she's already around 1.2 million digital she is okay for this chart week with the initial shipment. The label needs to get more copies to the stores before Black Friday though, or she will have angry fans.
no Estimates from Canada yet? i mean 21 (and Hello) was arguably even bigger there than in US!
i Think the opening week record is celine dionīs lets talk aabout love with around 230k, i Think she could break that aswell!

Would it be fair to assume she'll open up in Canada with about 1/10 of what she sells in the US, given that's the approximate proportion of the two nations populations? That would give 25 around 350 k, which would break the album record. CITW was so huge in Canada and I don't know what it opened with, so 25 could fall short on the combined singles + albums record.
^i also think itīll break the opening week record, proportionally 21 and hello sold more in CA than in US (21 1,47 million, hello opened with 140k), so i Think 300k should be a guarantee! unbelievable, the global appeal.
if it just wasn't for japan...
Barnes & Noble, Inc. the nations largest retail bookseller and a leading music retailer, today announced that first day sales of Adeles 25 in stores and online have surpassed first day sales of all other albums in Company history. Based on current trends Barnes & Noble expects 25, which launched on CD and vinyl on November 20, to be its bestselling album of 2015. The Company also reported that Adeles previous albums, 19 and 21, have seen strong recent sales.
Target said yesterday she obliterated their first day record as well.
Good luck to every other future artist trying to break the new record she sets. She is cementing her place in the history books forever more. Living legend.
