What on earth is Taylor Swift doing in New Zealand?
According to the almighty Twitterverse, pop-star Taylor Swift was spotted early this morning at Auckland International Airport.
One TayTay fan reportedly shared her excitement after sighting the mega-star with her Twitter followers, however no official confirmation has been made. Another Twitter user also reported spotting the star, accompanied by heavy security, making her way through the airport.
While Swift is scheduled to perform in Sydney on November 28, Swift's 1989 World Tour promoter Frontier Touring could not comment Monday morning on the reported sighting, claiming this was "the first they'd heard of it".

A source got in touch late in the day to say they had reliable information Swift had been filming a video at Bethells Beach. “Tomorrow is the last day of filming in Auckland,” the source said, anonymously but credibly.
Minutes later, Shipstead wrote in.
I had sent her a message in the early afternoon, wanting to know whether it was weird stumbling into the middle of a possibly fake news story in a small country at the bottom of the world. She said it was definitely weird, but the story was real. She’d seen Swift en route to New Zealand.
“When I saw her at LAX I assumed she was on her way to do a show or something well-publicised and didn't think I'd be disclosing any off-radar travel. (Sorry, Taylor!),” she said.
That’s enough for us at Newsworthy. We’re calling it. Swift is definitely in Auckland.

Shipstead posted the initial tweet on Twitter and has now confirmed that Taylor was travelling to New Zealand when she saw her.
