That's the thing: it ISN'T a big deal. No one cares (media) enough but her. The only people who are commenting are questioning why is doing this when nobody really cares. Nobody cares that she's topless, not shaving her armpits, wears a ***** or shows her cooch.
It's embarrassing that nobody actually cares, if anything.
But people are still commenting as if it's something weird and unusual. A shirtless man would never get that kind of commentary. Miley will continue to fight this sexism.
ADELE: BYE BYE BYE, RECORD BOOKS
Adele is now on track not just to break the existing record for first-week sales (NSYNC's 2.3m), but to smash it to dust. The current projection for the debut of her new XL/Columbia set, 25, is 2.5-2.9m.
Could even this astronomical number be a conservative estimate? Will last night’s SNL performance push her still further into the stratosphere? How huge is huge?
I don't know why Adele's first week sales gets this site so riled up and angry.
She's harmless; she's not seen as direct competition to anyone. She's in her own league. Her records are something we are lucky enough to see during this era.
+ now the highest sales week record belongs to a TRUE album in history. Not a boy-band capitalizing off the peak of album sales and 13 year old girls in 2000 full of songs everyone has forgotten about.
Should have been the first single. High By The Beach didn't deserve the exposure it got.

It's incredible. This song makes her writing on Born to Die sound so sophomoric. If she's grown so much over these 3 years, I can only imagine what she'll serve with her next album. It'll be legendary.
It was a cute hit in the UK last year and got a little second wind after an X Factor auditionee sang it this year It deserved to be much bigger though, it's such a beautiful song
This is one of tha most heartaching songs i've ever heard. My gosh whew
