Can someone remind me why Katniss kind of blames Gale for Prim's death? I know it was explained in the book but I don't really recall, he helped make the bombs? In the movie it was a quick 2 lines and then Katniss says goodbye to him

That previous film really put a lot of people off. It was SO dull.

i dont know if she blames him per se, but it still really hurts her that the bombs are his invention, obviously he didn't drop them but anyway it still hurts her cause they were his invention initially. yeah in D2 he brings up the idea of the bomb then people going rush to help and then another explosion happening, which is what happened with Prim.

anyone feel like they didn't really know when half the people died in the star squad :lol: i'm guessing the sewer but it happened so fast, but again that was the point they were trying to make.

went to see it again yesterday, still loved it

I spilled popcorn all over myself as well because of that scene

the mutt scene was so scary. it was just so creepy because you knew something was coming but it took so long for them to finally come it literally had my heart beating out of my chest. coin's death was iconic, the drums as katniss walked down the road was amazing, its one of my favorite scenes in the entire franchise.

i agree prim's death was a bit lackluster, but im glad they didnt make it all twinkly music and stuff. they could have done it a bit better. and my biggest complaint is during their invasion of the capitol, it was a bit too slow. like they stopped to sleep one too many times

It was soooo much better my second time seeing it.

I watched the movie last night with my boyfriend and I'm going to get my tickets laminated and put in a frame tomorrow. For the memories only. (I'm not gonna frame it because that would be weird but just to keep in a suit case or something so I can stumble upon it one day when I'm older)

I can't believe it's over, I was so upset when the credits started rolling, I didn't know the ending of franchise would affect me this much

The movie was so well done, much better than the last one (I actually still loved the last movie tho, I never really got the hate for it nn).

Now I kinda know how the Harry Potter stans felt when their series ended

I'm gonna watch a few more times on the weekend like I did with the 1st one and then wait for the DVD to come out
