Cmon irreplaceable is not an RnB song by any means. Ok theres also Beautiful liar. At least we've established that Bey's foray into pop music did not start with IASF.
Of course he has every right to do somn different but he blatantly hopped on the dancepop bandwagon. Those hits u mentioned are just as dated n forgotten as the Guetta songs smashin in that period. It hurt his career just like it did Ciara's. The urban audience take loyalty very seriously.
Well lack of smash hits hasnt dampened Bey's status in other areas like touring, income, celebrity ... all of which have grown since the IASF era. Bey didnt damage her brand, he did his.

I have always considered Irreplaceable R&B (wikipedia also agrees

) Beautiful Liar is pop.
If your R&B music wasn't being played on the radio and you're able to get a smash with dance pop why not continue to make it

He were featured on most of those EDM songs and his music has remained R&B pretty much. I wouldn't say it hurt his selling power though. He just transitioned from a album seller to an single seller.
Beyoncé is a really rare case. I don't even know how to explain it. Maybe its the illuminati

Just Dance was released in April of 2008 Poker Face was released in September of 2008
SL and IIWAB were released in October of 2008
The Fame was released in August of 2008 IASF was released in November of 2008.
That would still make Gaga's album done 3 to 6 months before Bey
I'm gonna stop here I can't keep saying negative things about Bey because she is still my 2nd favorite artist and have the 2nd best discography ever to me
