I studied contemporary pop music, which many would say is a weird thing to study. But I got my degree out if it and really enjoyed it. I don't need to see it as a waste of money either, since college and university is free in my country and you can take as many courses as you wish in your lifetime for no extra charge, so it's easy for me to want to study something else in the future, if I decide to.
My school has a Sexuality Studies major. That in itself isn't strange, but there's also a Women's, Gender, and Sexuality major. What's the difference I wonder.
Women and Gender is more focused on the concept of gender and women issues I think.
Sexuality would be more about sex and everything it entails

I always thought subjects like gender studies would be under a sociology major (an actual traditional academic subject)...
The university of Birmingham here in the UK offers a course in golf management which I think again could've fallen under a business management degree...
It's a liberal arts major with influence from the school of natural sciences. It's so hard to explain and none of the students really get it anyways Regardless it's the third best honors program in the country!
