You can download anything you get from Google Play and add it to your iTunes.

I have a couple cents leftover from a Google Play gift card I was given, so whenever I "purchase" any of their free stuff, it just "charges" it to that.

I have never bought anything from the google store, I can download free aps just fine but for free music they want my credit card info

That's weird. Maybe its because anyone can download music from them, but only people with Android devices can download apps.

It never charges you. I've been using it like that forever and it's worth it given all the free/discount albums they give. It think it's just to make it easier to buy other stuff from them since the whole point of giving away these albums is to bring people into their store and have them buy something else while they're looking.
