There are incoming messages about an attack in the capital Bamako. Armed attackers have taken about 170 people hostage in hotel Radisson.
The police and army have surrounded the hotel
According to the French media there were two conferences in the hotel. The military was busy with a meeting and at the same time a conference was being held about IS.
Station Europe 1 is saying that they heard shots in the hotel in the centre of the city. De terrorists would be on the seventh floor of the hotel, where there are 190 rooms.

Edit 3: 80 people are rescued and released, still over 100 people in the hotel. But two military operations are busy helping people out of the hotel.
Edit 4: The hotel confirmed there are still 138 people inside the hotel
Edit 5: Supporters of an al Qaeda affiliated group have claimed responsibility this attack and US special forces are helping recovering hostages from the hotel
Edit 6: The hostage situation is over, 18 people have been found dead
