Guy in library slips cute love note to girl and wins approval of Twitter
It's always unnerving plucking up the courage to ask out a fellow student on a date, and one guy certainly gets brownie points for his out-of-the-box effort.
University of Southampton student Naomi Lucking was studying in the library one day when she received a note from a mystery guy.
She tweeted about the experience, saying: "Some guy in the library gave me this and it was the most awkward experience of my life."
However, she conceded to being impressed with the effort: "10/10 for creativity though".
The creative hand-drawn letter simulates a smartphone screen with one unread WhatApp message.
After "unfold[ing] to open", the 'WhatsApp message' held the burning question of the hopeful guy, who wondered if Lucking would have coffee with him.
