i kinda want to listen to 25 to see if it's as bland as what everyone says it is/what i expect it to be, but if it's not going on streaming i'm not putting in the extra effort just to listen to it
I mostly found the last season less accessible because so many of the plotlines revolved around the GR, which I found mostly uncompelling and deliberately weird. The plots this time feel a lot stronger and more focused, although I still don't particularly care about what Tommy's up to. Hopefully we don't get a full episode about him and Liv Tyler.
I think they did a very good job at refurbishing the show so as to make it appeal to a wider audience. I just feel like the first season had that certain feel to it that I could connect with so easily. I don't know how to describe it. The storyline was so nonexistent that it made really more room for the people's despair to really show.

There are websites that have it streaming online. Not legally, of course, but they don't require all that much effort to find.
The real struggle comes from trying to get through it.
