Low key I'd hate to be a straight man and always have to prove my masculinity all the time, being gay I can like all the feminine stuff I want and not give a ****!
They don't HAVE to tho, they are just expected to.
i think minorities have more cohesive communities than majority groups, so that can be a positive thing (even though it sometimes leads to infighting). and it helps you get argument points on the internet i guess.
in the end, the minority experience is much different depending on your situation and especially where you live. a black person living in an area that's mostly populated by other black people has a situation where they'll experience less racism than if they live in a primarily white neighborhood.
also, asians have longer life expectancies and a higher average income, so good for them! actually, you definitely can't say every race's experience is the same just because they're not white. they all have different problems.
of course, that only applies to the US. there's obviously benefits to being an asian in asia : P that's another place where it depends, based on what country you're from
having our own culture. I'm hispanic and german and it's nice embracing it tbh. Oh and having our own countries where we can embrace our culture and share our similar life experiences with each other like South America and Africa for African americans
