The album is not even bad; it's worse than that: it's mediocre. I feel this whole project was very rushed, and I don't know if I'm the only person who's bothered by will.i.am being featured on half the album.
I suppose it all boils down to personal taste, but this album is like stale ramen to me.

Trust, will.i.am is on this album faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar too much. He works on "3 Words" but otherwise adds nothing of merit.
And having played it a bit more, I do agree that the album is mediocre. But I think it's just cuz I'm so in love with the Girls Aloud/Xenomania sound and Cheryl chose not to go that way and it's so jarring. And some of the songs, like the popular "Stand Up" and "Boy Like You" are guttertrash. Had it been more pared in style with ""Make Me Cry" or "Don't Talk About This Love" and stupid **** like BLY, the unneeded reminder of "Heartbreaker" and "Heaven" there could be a really strong album.
As it is, it's passing. Nowhere near as good as some of the debuts this year
*coughVVBrowncough* but it should serve until Nuhdeen unveils her attempts. Or until they wake up and go back to being Aloud.
