Very much here for her team reading into Billboard rules, etc. to work out how to get a Christmas EP / injection of songs to be recognised as re-release of the original? It's worth it, for the plat certification.
Maybe they could just delete the Deluxe iTunes Version and replace the bonus tracks gone with new Xmas songs in a new 'Cheek To Cheek - The Holiday Edition' release to stand with the standard version digitally from then on. I think that's the way to go.
If there's no plans for a Christmas release, I think it would be beautiful if she released 'La Vie En Rose' or 'I Love Paris' (a Cole Porter song, which they're recording for the next album) as a charity single in aid of relief foundations in Paris (or all countries recently faced with attacks) or refugee integration efforts. |
Unless they're already printing the CDs, I think it's too late for a physical release. If they're going for an EP/re-release, it'll probably be digital.

do you think 50%disco and 50%rock will work for lg5? its killing me that we dont anything about the new album but im glad she was teasing artpop for a year and something and then suddenly... you know what happened. |

They could always just make a super deluxe version or something with the added tracks. It really wouldn't be too difficult to make work. It's getting to be too late for it though unfortunately.

The little managers really piss me off sometimes.
Like, cool, be creative and play with your imagination in hypotheticals. But some of these people (*cough*) seem to seriously spend time and emotional investment in ANGUISH over things that they have no input in or control over. Who cares whether she picked X as a single or Y song didn't perform as well as you feel it could have on the charts. Point is, you can't change ANY of that and the longer you spend in your fantasy world where G.U.Y. peaked at #1 instead of accepting reality and enjoying the music, the worse it is for your mental health.
Sit back and enjoy whatever she does, or not, ****. It's NOT as serious as y'all act like it is.
Also newflash, the more you post about "having waited too long" in between albums and what not has no effect on when she will actually release. You have NO power here, Michael.

You know, I could understand the whining over "waiting too long" if she was absent from the scene, but the girl has been everywhere since C2C was released. She hasn't left us with nothing like she did pre-ARTPOP.
