+Adele has always been fairly rated with critics, so even a little critical backlash wouldn't hurt her. And it's not like Adele will be all in your face after February besides a few things here and there. That's probably why she's so successful.

I'm interested to see whether Taylor or Adele comes out on top as artist of the decade. Taylor will have an advantage because she releases more frequently than Adele. I see Taylor releasing 2 more albums this decade & Adele only 1 more.
Adele trumps Taylor's sales on a per album basis but in aggregate Taylor's frequency might be the deciding factor. I doubt Taylor will ever have a true underperforming era and I'd be shocked if she did.

That's what the girls are worry about. Adele fans aren't expecting 21 success, but the girls are shivering in their Timbalands with the crazy comments like "She won't see 21 success like some people are expecting. She's lost it."
