I wouldn't mind waiting for KP4 if it was amazing. But Prism wasn't amazing and that was also a 3 year wait. I don't think her albums are good enough to be waiting this long between releases. It's really going to backfire on her unless she starts making some great albums that don't sound like fillers + singles. She's the only American pop star that I really like, but if KP4 isn't AMAZING, then I'm giving up my stan card. I just can't stand the way she handles her career.
Single choices are bad, music videos progressively getting worse, fashion is **** (I blame partnering with Moschino), hair is a mess 99% of the time, albums aren't THAT great, etc.
Like I can't deal. It's really frustrating because I like her so much but at this point it's more frustrating to see someone sabotage their own career. She got the biggest ****ing stage in America this year and she spent half of it looking like it was Halloween in a ugly ass flames dress that did not look even slightly real. Had the homegirl brough some Hunger Games/Katniss realness with that flames dress I would have been screaming YASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS but that ugly ass thing?
Then I was expecting some next level HOTNESS during the CG/Teenage Dream setlist with an outfit similar to
But of course she comes out in an ugly ass rainbow colored outfit.
Ugh man it's so frustrating because I liked her so much transitioning from Teenage Dream to Prism, but the actual Prism era was such a disappointment. She doesn't seem to be showing an signs of improving for her next era either.I own all of her albums, but something tells me KP4 will the first I don't buy. I hope she can prove me wrong, but I ain't the type of stan who will stan no matter what. If she keeps disappointing me I'll give up the stan card. I ain't buying **** I don't like just to make a rich person more rich
. Thankfully "Dark Horse" scalped the globe, but otherwise she'd have been left with "Roar" as her memorable hit and that is not something you want your artistry to rest on.
