For me the first listen was like "maybe this isn't that bad, actually I like it" then the second listen "no this chorus is getting on my nerves" and then the third listen "this sucks"

Yeah. I like this but it does not compare to the awesomeness of Live Like We're Dying. I don't like Friday I'll Be Over You.

I actually like the song. It's very power ballad-ish and Adam's voice suits it well. People you have to remember it's not his first single, it's a soundtrack single.
