A lot of the times generic brands' products are made in the same factories as regular products, so yeah. It really depends on the product. Generic soda is more diluted.
Sometimes, depends what it is. Like yes bitch, the generic brand of egg whites is the same **** as the overpriced one. I've actually found that the store brand of cheese tastes better than all the other name brands.
Most of the generic supermarket brands are exactly the same as their branded counterparts. If you want to pay 3x more for fancy packaging it's your choice.
Of course there are variations and some brands still retain their power. Like for example none of supermarket copies taste as good as Alpen, so I buy that brand. But for majority of things generic all the way >>>
I sometimes do for a few things like original salted potato chips. I mean the wavy no name one's taste great lol! sometimes even better then the leading brand
