She is actually the main star of Bring the noise. She sings every week, and it's a great way to show so many talents of hers. And tbh, she seems to be having fun.
So, it's not always about what's hot or what's good or her image. If its a fun show, and they are obviously big fan of hers, why not do it? I watched all the episodes so far, and although its a bit corny and stupid at times, it's kind of fun. Its a show that's all about music.
