I think the world should recognize ISIS as a country. That's the only way to defeat them. What really makes it hard to defeat ISIS is that they vastly operate underground among several separate groups. But once they start setting up proper camps or bases it becomes incredibly easy for any military power to just wipe them out with minimal risk of their own just like what the US did with Iraq..

ISIS is not interested in being recognized as a state by the enemy.

They want to establish their God-given right to a Calipha (which extends all the way to Portugal) and anyone that opposes Islam, the Caliphate, their leader, or any of their ideologies must be brutally murdered.
